LONDON, UK – 5 October, 2026 – Dopa, a new official TikTok LIVE creator network, has launched in the UK with the aim of helping creators build their audience, improve their content and develop their earning potential through TikTok LIVE.
Founded in 2026 and officially launched on 1 October, Dopa is now recruiting creators across the UK, with a particular focus on university students, young creators and people who want to build a presence on TikTok LIVE alongside work, study or an existing social media audience.
Unlike traditional talent agencies, Dopa is free for creators to join. The company does not take a percentage of creator earnings and is instead paid by TikTok.
The TikTok Live agency is open to UK creators aged 18 and over, with no minimum follower requirement.
Dopa says its aim is to make TikTok LIVE more accessible to people who may have considered becoming a creator but have been unsure how to start, how LIVE works or how creators turn regular broadcasts into a growing audience and income stream.
“TikTok LIVE is still misunderstood by a lot of people,” said Jon, Co-founder of Dopa. “There’s this assumption that you already need a huge following or you need to be a traditional influencer. You don’t. Some of the most interesting LIVE creators are simply people who are good at talking, entertaining, teaching, debating or building a community.”
“We built Dopa because creators need more than somebody checking in with them once a month. They need advice when they have a question, training when they want to improve, people to collaborate with and somewhere they can actually see themselves progressing.”
The Dopa App puts creator support in one place
At the centre of the new network is the Dopa App, a proprietary creator platform designed to act as a TikTok LIVE operating system for Dopa creators.
Creators can use the app to access TikTok LIVE training, contact their creator manager, ask questions, track their growth, arrange battles with other creators and take part in the wider Dopa community.
The platform is designed to support creators throughout the process rather than simply recruiting them to a network.
Dopa also provides personal coaching, LIVE strategy, account support, performance analysis and monetisation advice.
The company describes its approach as “built by creators, for creators”, with an emphasis on practical support and helping creators understand what actually makes a successful LIVE.
For people completely new to the format, Dopa has also created free educational content explaining what TikTok LIVE is and how to go LIVE on TikTok.
Dopa targets students and the next generation of LIVE creators
Although the network is open to adults of all ages and backgrounds, Dopa is placing a particular focus on UK universities and students.
The company is already in discussions with student unions as part of its recruitment drive and believes TikTok LIVE can offer students another way to build a personal brand, develop communication skills and potentially earn alongside their studies.
Searches around topics such as TikTok LIVE jobs, TikTok LIVE for students and how to make money on TikTok LIVE reflect growing interest in LIVE as a creator opportunity rather than simply a feature inside the TikTok app.
Dopa believes many potential creators are unaware that they do not need an established influencer audience before getting started.
“There are people sitting in university halls, working from home or finishing their day job who would be brilliant LIVE creators but have never considered it,” Jon added.
“You don’t need to arrive with hundreds of thousands of followers. What matters is whether you can connect with people and whether you’re willing to learn. Our job is to help with everything around that.”
Recruitment now open across the UK
Dopa has already signed its first group of creators and is now expanding recruitment across the UK.
There is no fee to join, no percentage taken from creator earnings and no minimum follower requirement.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over and based in the UK.
