Fort Worth, Texas – Macon Hatton is thrilled to announce the release of his first EP after a decade long hiatus. His latest song is called Unwind and will be available everywhere on August 12, 2022.

Unwind, ready for release on August 12, 2022, is one of those “hookline and sinker songs” describes Hatton. The song was written while still single. Hatton explains, “It’s that feeling of someone walking into a room, all eyes are on them

Unwind has a Rock/R&B feel and was recorded in Hatton’s first trip to Nashville.

Every great song and great collaboration and Unwind is no different Hatton had the honor of working with long time friend Davie Cameron whom he met in Dallas, Texas more than ten years ago. Cameron features on lead guitar, drums, and base for the song. The incredibly talented Johhny Truesdale of Firefly Sound (@fireflysound) is the producer.

Hatton has been a musician since he was a rambunctious child singing at church in southeast Texas. As a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist his style incorporates elements of rock, blues, soul, R&B, funk, jazz and folk. He makes his home in Fort Worth, Texas.
