Ocoee, Tennessee – December 13, 2021 – America’s #1 whitewater rafting destination, Cherokee Rafting, is pleased to announce that it has recently included 3 rafting sections in its trip portfolio. From rafting veterans to beginners, Cherokee Rafting is offering exciting whitewater rafting opportunities for all.

Cherokee Rafting takes the rafters across 10 magnificent miles of continuous class III & IV rapids on the Ocoee River that flows through the spectacular gorge inside the panoramic Cherokee National Forest. The company has been awarded with TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for the last 10 years. Cherokee Rafting has also been selected by the esteemed National Geographic as an official destination for Geo-Tourism.

“You don’t necessarily need to be an experienced rafter to join us in our whitewater rafting adventures on the Ocoee river, across the gorgeous Cherokee National Forest. We have recently included three different kinds of rating sections to cater to rafters of all skill levels, ranging from first-timers to experienced and highly adventurous ones”, stated Justin Shigley, the owner of Cherokee Rafting.

The three rafting sections included by Cherokee Rafting are – The Middle, The Full, and The Upper.

The Middle

Especially great for the beginners, the Middle Rafting section of the Ocoee River stretch assures encounters with some of the most thrilling, wildest and wettest actions around. The area covers 20+ continuous class III & IV rapids and offers amazing places to surf and play.

The Upper

The upper section comprises the waters that challenged none other than the Olympian athletes in 1996. The Upper Ocoee rafting adventure takes the rafters across various rapids named Godzilla, Let’s Make a Deal, etc., surrounded by ethereal scenery and panoramic beauty of nature all around. Great for experienced rafters, the trip is dotted with some extremely intense class III & IV whitewater rapids and the most significant attraction of the section is surely the 1996 Olympic Whitewater course.

The Full

The Full includes a whole day adventure package that covers 10 miles of the river stretch, comprising 30+ raging rapids. It will include the Upper section as well. The package also covers a picnic lunch that will be served at the last lap of the upper section.
