The World Expo 2020 to be held in Dubai from October 2021 to March 2022

For the First time ever, the World Expo will be hosted in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa.

Lagos – October 05, 2021 – The World Expo 2020 has commenced in Dubai, UAE from October 2021 to March 2022. This high profile event is taking place for the first time in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. It is the largest international event to be hosted by the UAE which will witness a magnum list of participants from as many as 192 countries. 

The World Expo is hailed as the biggest international exhibition in the world. The event takes place every 5 years and runs for 6 months at a stretch. The UAEExpo2020 will commence on October 1, 2021 and will run through March 31, 2022. Over 25 million+ visitors are expected to attend the World Expo. 

The prestigious DubaiExpo2020is organized by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment & Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission. The Nigerian Arabian Gulf Chamber of Commerce is the chief collaborator for the event.

The World Expo 2020 covers a wide range of sectors, ranging from Agriculture, Agritech, Education, Fintech, Aviation, ICT, Automobile, Energy, Maritime, Rail, Petroleum & Gas, Construction, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing. The exhibition focuses on fast emerging cutting-edge industries too like eHealth and Renewable Energy. 

The high level exhibition will be graced by leading business dignitaries and industry professionals from several places across the world.  

The exhibition will be hosting forums on exploring and experiencing Nigeria. The forums will provide a powerful platform to introduce or discuss new innovations in various industries, discover new business opportunities, participate in FDI sessions as well as network with industry leaders and professionals.
