DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TEXAS – December 21st, 2020 – Earlier this year, business owners Eli Acuña and Edy Martinez partnered up to create Dallas-Fort Worth based SR817, a multimedia company that produces film and commercial projects, to combine their expertise and increase expansion. Acuña’s previous company was Scarlett Rose Media, and Martinez’s previous company was 2430 Norte Films. This year, the duo’s work caught the eyes of several managers in talent and marketing. SR817’s clientele list continues to grow, and now includes Grammy Award–winning musical artists, Fortune 500 companies, social media influencers, and famous athletes.
The two entrepreneurs share very similar backgrounds. Both were born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. As older children, Acuña and Martinez immigrated with their families to the United States. Acuña grew up in Los Angeles and Martinez in Fort Worth, Texas. As a teenager, Acuña moved to the Lone Star State. Years later, Martinez met Acuña while working on numerous projects together and the two soon decided to build their brands together into one company.
SR817 has gained momentum since this spring, and as a result, created jobs for several Dallas-Fort Worth residents. In addition, the SR817 location also houses Scarlett Rose Studios, where photographers rent out space for their own private shoots. SR817 is located at 3711 Parry Ave. #201 in the historic neighborhood of Deep Ellum, which is known for its vibrant music and art scene.
