The company consists of two founding members, Michael Garza, President, and Alec Garza, Vice President. The two found themselves trying to come up with a unique, business idea. One day, Michael came across website compliance software for his own company’s website. Being a website developer himself, he thought what a great idea and that was what created something new, apart from what he had done before. When Alec, the son of Michael, was consulted about the idea, he was instantly intrigued. From there on, the two planned and developed a working business strategy for creating ADA Compliant NET.
“It almost feels like being a real-life superhero, which is something I’ve always tried to be. When my dad brought the idea to me and explained to me what it could do for the disabled, I thought this is something not enough people were doing at the current time and this was the right thing to do,” Alec Garza commented.
The new website has a unique design with its light greens and blues with easy access to all pages on the site including the use of handicap accessibility technology. The homepage has a short, informative video regarding the basic information about the law. The site places a major emphasis on being compliant with WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508 and EN 301549. The United States law says that those with disabilities must have equal access to all public company websites and must meet the guidelines stated or it will result in major fines and website lawsuits.
The Features tab included on the website explains in detail the technology used and what features the remediation software comes with like voice guidance, readable font function, mouse cursor enlargement, adjustable menu design, and others. This technology is kept up to date at least once a month. ADA compliance is, according to the team, essential.
