For example, a 20mm thickness sheet may actually be only 18mm.② Casting production process requires a large amount of water for cooling, easy to produce industrial effluent, causing pollution to the environment.③ The size of the whole sheet is fixed, the production of other specifications of the sheet is less flexible. The acrylic sheet production lines are easy to cause waste of sheet trimmings, which in turn increases the unit price of the product.
2. Extruded acrylic sheetExtruded acrylic sheet, is generally the first acrylic raw materials melted, and then extruded at high temperature through mechanical equipment.Acrylic casting sheet production process: acrylic raw materials → screw extruder (melting, plasticizing) → die-cutting → calendering → lamination → cutting → packaging.(1) The advantages of extrusion acrylic sheet① Smaller thickness tolerance.② Suitable for a single variety, mass production.③ The length of the sheet is adjustable, and a bigger size sheet can be produced.④ Easy bending and thermoforming process, in dealing with the larger size of the plate, conducive to fast plastic vacuum blister molding.⑤ Mass production can reduce production costs, and production size specifications have a great advantage.(2) the disadvantages of extruded acrylic sheet① Extruded sheet molecular weight is low, mechanical properties are slightly weaker.② As the extruded sheet is produced in large quantities automatically, the color is inconvenient to adjust, so the product is subject to certain color restrictions.③ Casting sheet and extrusion sheet both belong to the acrylic sheet Category, these acrylic color types are similar. Common colors on the market are white, red, blue, green, etc.
